Late-Breaking Abstract Outcomes

Thank you for submitting your Late-Breaking abstract(s) to the ISID 2023 Meeting. We are pleased to inform you that the decision/outcome of your abstract submission(s) is posted below for viewing.  Your 7-digit Control ID reference has now been converted to a Final ID number, and is included in the charts that are now posted.

Your Final ID reference will be used for your abstract published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), the ISID 2023 Meeting App, electronic materials, and your electronic/physical poster.

  • This notification does not mean that you are automatically registered for the ISID 2023 Meeting. Follow this link to register for the ISID 2023 Meeting.
  • Should you need to withdraw your Late-Breaking abstract so it does not appear in the ISID 2023 Meeting Program or in the future issue of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), you must request a withdrawal by 14 April 2023 (in writing via email at abstracts@sidnet.org.)

We are pleased to inform you that the outcome of your abstract submission(s) is posted below for your review (accepted/not accepted).  Your Control ID reference has now been converted to a Final ID number and is included in the charts that are now posted.

Your Final ID reference will be used for your abstract published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), the ISID 2023 Meeting App and your electronic/physical poster.

When reviewing the Outcome document(s), please be advised that Session Type refers to whether your paper was selected for oral (Plenary, Concurrent, or ePoster) or poster presentation. The category in which your submission will be a part of is also listed on the notification grid.  The category will be matched against those categories that will be showcased during Poster Sessions 1 and 2.

  • Those who have applied for a Travel grant will soon be notified by the respective regions in which they applied to.
  • Should you need to withdraw your abstract so it does not appear in the May 2023 supplement of the Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID), you must request said withdrawal by 23 February 2023 in writing via email at abstracts@sidnet.org.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

  • If you have been awarded an oral presentation, your in-person attendance is required.
  • Only one paper or poster may be read or presented by the same author at the Meeting, although a presenter may be a co-author of any number of papers. The material must not have been published prior to submission of the abstract or presented at any international meeting prior to the date of presentation at ISID 2023 Meeting. Simultaneous submission of the same abstract to other meetings is prohibited.
  • If you have been selected for an ORAL presentation (Plenary, Concurrent, or ePoster), you must also upload a poster image file (PDF) of your work to be accessed during the Meeting through our ePoster Platform. Details about the uploading of image, format, size…can be foune here: https://isid2023.org/abstract/posters-preparation/
  • Those awarded ORAL presentations (Plenary, Concurrent, ePoster) will NOT be required to bring a physical poster to the meeting.

At the Meeting in Tokyo

  • Plenary talks are scheduled on Thursday 11 May 2023 from 08.10–09.10 and from 10:20–11:20, Friday 12 May 2023, from 08.10–09.10 and from 10.20–11.20, and Saturday 13 May 2023, from 08.10–09.10.  You should have been notified with the date and time you’ve been selected to present. A complete program will be available on this website and through the Meeting App.
  • Plenary talks will be ten (10) minutes in length, followed by two (2) minutes of moderated Q & A.
  • Please bring your slides to the Speaker Ready Room (location to soon be determined) in advance of your talk to ensure compatibility with the A/V systems and to address any changes.

At the Meeting in Tokyo

  • Meeting Mini-Symposia talks are scheduled on Thursday 11 May 2023, from 13:15–15.45, Friday 12 May 2023, from 15:30–18.00, and Saturday 13 May 2023, from 13:15–15.45.  You should have been notified with the date and time you have been selected to present.
  • Mini-Symposia talks will be eight (8) minutes in length, followed by two (2) minutes of moderated Q & A.
  • Please bring your slides to the Speaker Ready Room (location to soon be determined) in advance of your talk to ensure compatibility with the A/V systems and to address any changes.

At the Meeting in Tokyo

  • Meeting ePoster talks are scheduled on Thursday 11 May 2023, from 18:10 – 19:40 and on Friday 12 May 2023, from 18:10 – 19:40.  You should have been notified with the date and time you’ve been selected to present.
  • ePoster talks will be five (5) minutes in length: three (3) minutes of presentation followed by two (2) minutes of moderated Q&A.

POSTER-ONLY PRESENTATIONS

If you have been selected as a POSTER-ONLY presenter, please note the following:

At the Meeting in Tokyo

  • All Poster-only presenters must upload a PDF of their poster to our ePoster platform ahead of the meeting.  Details about the uploading of image, format, size…can be found HERE.
  • Deadline For Uploads Is Friday 5 May 2023 18:00 CET
  • Please also bring your physical poster to the NS Building (located via 5-minute walk from the venue) for placement on your assigned Poster Board space.  A poster printing service is available, more information can be found HERE.
  • You must also be present in your assigned poster board space during either Poster Session 1 or 2.  Your presentation day is based upon your Final ID # and its assigned date and time.  Your participation will be for additional Q&A opportunities.
  • Poster size is to be 90 cm wide by 160 cm tall (36 inches x 63 inches).
  • Please consider adding a QR code to your poster.  The QR code can be used to provide immediate direction to a lab website or specific content such as figures or videos.

POSTER SESSIONS

  • Poster Session 1 will take place on Thursday 11 May 2023, from 18.10-19.40. This will be for all ODD #’d Final ID abstracts.
  • Poster Session 2 will take place on Friday 12 May 2023, from 18.10-19.40.  This will be for all EVEN #’d Final ID abstracts.

ePOSTER SESSIONS

ePoster presentations will take place in the Poster Hall space (NS Building) on our five ePoster stages.

PRESENTATION TIPS

As you prepare for your talk, please note the following guidelines.

  • Your ePoster PDF will be projected for your talk
  • Resolution for your presentation slide deck should be 16:9 (widescreen)
  • Please ensure your talk is provided to the staff at the Speaker-Ready Room at least one hour before your scheduled talk.  The Speaker Ready Room will soon be identified in a subsequent posting on this webpage.
