Grants / Scholarships

Travel Grants will be awarded to investigators who will attend the ISID 2023 Meeting to present their scientific work.

Submission

Grants for ISID 2023 can be submitted during the abstract submission process (Step 3).
Application criteria may differ per region (see below). You may only apply for a grant from the region in which you reside.
The deadline for applications is January 10, 2023 (the same date as the abstract deadline). Grant awardees will be contacted by mid-February 2023 at the latest.

Americas Region

The Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID) is pleased to announce that it will be providing a minimum of 85 travel grants to attend the ISID 2023 Meeting in May of 2023.  Each grant will be worth $2,000 US and to be for in-person participation of the meeting in Tokyo, Japan.  Those selected as recipients of the grants will be based on SID membership, abstract score/presentation merit, and needs based criteria.

AWARD ELIGIBILITY

• Applicant must be the presenting author on the abstract submitted to the ISID 2023 Meeting.

The abstract must be submitted for oral presentation consideration.

• Residents in Dermatology or other medical fields
• Pre- and Post-Doctoral Fellows
• Medical and Graduate students
• Lab technicians

Asia-Australasia Region

Europe-Middle East-Africa Region

The European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR) is pleased to announce that it will be providing a minimum of 100 travel grants to attend the ISID 2023 Meeting in May 2023.  Each grant will be worth EUR 2’000 and must be used for in-person participation of the meeting in Tokyo, Japan.  Those selected as recipients of the grants will be based on ESDR membership, abstract score and needs based criteria.

AWARD ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA

• Aged 40 or under at 1 January 2023
• Has submitted an abstract to the ISID2023 meeting as presenting author
• Must reside in Europe, Middle East or Africa region
