Complimentary Hospitality Program

Tokyo Metropolitan Government offers several complimentary programs specially tailored to provide accompanying persons only with various experiences of Tokyo and its vicinity; from nature and culture to other attractions.

★How to book★

Please sign up for the tours at the “TOKYO CITY INFORMATION DESK”. Bookings will start from Wednesday 10 May. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

★Important Notices★

  • Please note that re-issue of the ticket is not possible. Participation will not be possible if the ticket is lost or the ticket-stub is detached.
  • Participants of the Complimentary Hospitality Program may be photographed/filmed by authorized photographer/ cameraman for the purpose of records and future Tokyo promotion. By registering for this Program, you agree that your image may be used in full/in part and distributed for the above mentioned purposes.

Tokyo City Tours

Free bus tours with an English-speaking guide will take you to the most popular sightseeing areas in Tokyo. Each tour begins and ends at The KEIO PLAZA HOTEL.

TOKYO SKYTREE & Solamachi shopping (40)

Visit one of Tokyo’s must-see destinations, the world’s tallest free-standing broadcasting tower. You can also enjoy the 300-odd shops and restaurants at the foot of the tower, collectively known as Tokyo Solamachi.

River Cruise & Hama-rikyu Gardens (40)

This half-hour boat cruise down the Sumida River travels under some 14 bridges, showing the capital’s famous landmarks along the way.
Hama-rikyu Gardens, located along the Tokyo Waterfront. 

Visitors can enjoy a walk in the beautifully preserved garden that the family of the ruling Tokugawa Shogun owned from the 17th to the mid-19th century, where they used to go hunting with falcons.

teamLab Planets TOKYO (40)

teamLab Planets is a museum where you walk through water, and a garden where you become one with the flowers.
There are four massive exhibition spaces and two gardens. Enter barefoot, immerse your body with others in the artwork spaces, and become one with the world.


Meiji Jingu Shrine and Harajuku(40)

Meiji shrine is located near Harajuku station. You can enjoy the fresh air of nature and beautiful palace.
There are worshipers from all over the country, and the number of worshipers at Hatsumode is the highest in Japan.
The vast site of about 700,000 square meters is planted with about 100,000 trees collected from all over the country.

Tea ceremony

Sado is the traditional culture that represents Japanese hospitality.
It is a heartfelt communication of preparing and enjoying tea.

Kimono experience (30)

Kimono is a traditional Japanese cloth that means a “thing to wear” in Japanese. 
People wear kimonos for special occasions, such as Coming-of-Age Day, wedding receptions, and so on.
